Development projects Downtown represent more than construction projects.  They usually mean more jobs (both construction and permanent) for Louisville Metro and produce more tax revenue to the city and state when complete.  This helps to pay for much needed services to all taxpayers.  Downtown Louisville completed 18 development projects Downtown totaling $398 million in investments in 2010.
