The Louisville Downtown Development Corporation (LDDC) has completed a plan to better communicate its mission and purpose.  This plan was developed with stakeholder input, including a community survey and policy analysis.

The plan defines who LDDC is, differentiates its mission from other organizations and identifies LDDC’s core functions.  See the Communication Plan attached for a better understanding of LDDC. (This is a powerpoint document and may take a few minutes to download.)

 

Private sector fundraising initiative

The LDDC Board also approved moving forward with an aggressive private sector fundraising initiative to improve the development of downtown.  Funds raised with this initiative will go to key downtown development projects that bring about job growth for Metro Louisville.  For example, LDDC will be starting the new 10 year Master Plan and will be launching the new Downtown Commercial Loan Program.
